Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This policy is for anyone in the United States, and is written to meet Washington's My Health My Data Act and similar state laws. It covers the health information CoMind holds. Our full privacy notice covers everything else. CoMind is run by Jupifrel Limited, a UK company. Contact: info@comind.life.

What health information we collect, and why

CoMind keeps track of your life admin from the emails you send it. Life admin sometimes touches health, so we may hold:

• Health conditions, injuries, treatments and medicines you mention, or that appear in an email you send us - for example "cancel the gym, my knee won't recover", or a pharmacy refill reminder
• Appointments and care arrangements - when and where an appointment is, who it is with, and the kind of care, such as a physical therapy visit
• Health insurance letters and statements you forward, such as an explanation of benefits
• Health information our AI works out from something that is not obviously about health - a pharmacy receipt, for example
• Other people's health information you mention - a parent's care, a child's appointment. We keep only what the task needs.

We use it only to run CoMind for you: to keep your notes, remind you what needs doing, and answer your questions about your own admin. Never for advertising, never sold, never used to train AI.

How we ask. The first time something you send looks like health information, we set that part aside and ask whether you are happy for us to keep it. Nothing set aside is used. If you say yes, we keep health information from then on. If you do not say yes within 7 days, we delete it and tell you.

Appointments are different. When you send us one, we keep when and where it is, who it is with and what kind of appointment it is (a dental checkup, a physical therapy visit) without asking, because keeping track of it is what you asked CoMind to do. The same goes for a statement from your health plan about a visit. Washington's law counts these as health information too, so this policy covers them, and you can ask us to delete them like anything else. What we always ask about first is the reason for the care: a condition, a diagnosis, a test result, a medicine.

Where it comes from

• You - emails you forward or send, thoughts you type on your board, replies to our emails, questions on a card
• Our AI, which reads what you send and writes notes from it

We do not collect health information from anyone else, buy it, or track where you are.

Who handles it

We do not share your health information with any third party or affiliate. Three companies handle it for us, only to run CoMind and only on our instructions, under contract:

Your rights, and how to use them

Email info@comind.life from the address you use with CoMind. We check the request comes from that address; we will only ask for more if we genuinely cannot tell it is you. You do not need an account for anything else.

• Confirm and see. Ask whether we hold health information about you and we will send you a copy, and confirm who has handled it.
• Withdraw your consent. Reply "stop keeping my health details" to any CoMind email. We remove your health information from your notes and board within a day and stop keeping any more.
• Delete. Ask us to delete your health information, or everything. We delete it from your notes and board within 21 days. Some copies last longer, and we cannot yet promise they are all gone within six months - see "What deleted means" in our privacy notice. [In development]
• Appeal. If we refuse any part of a request, reply "appeal" to our answer or write to info@comind.life. We answer in writing within 45 days, with our reasons, and if we still refuse we tell you how to complain to your state's Attorney General (in Washington: atg.wa.gov/file-complaint).

We answer every request within 45 days, usually within one month. If a request is complicated we may take up to 45 days more, and will tell you within the first 45. Requests are free up to twice a year.

Changes

We will not collect a new kind of health information, or use it for a new purpose, without updating this policy and asking you first.
